Richard LeFebvre possesses an array of experience in the art and antique world, having observed the market from the perspective of a dealer and appraiser for more than 40 years and as an art educator for 37 years. He has studied fine art with Richard Lack and Stephen Gjertson at the Atelier Lack in Minneapolis. He has earned both a BA an MA from The University of Wisconsin. Has an intense interest in art History and antiques, including oriental carpets, with a personal library of more than 3,000 books.
Richard is past president of MADA. (Minnesota Antique Dealers Association). He has appraised for more than 35 estate sales dealers. He has taught antique classes for local communities, colleges, and the St. Paul Public Library. He has been invited to speak for numerous antique clubs and organizations, written numerous articles for antique magazines, and publications.
Richard began his career by opening a quaint antique shop just off of Grand avenue in St. Paul Minnesota, and has continued to operate a shop with exceptional offerings of art and antiques. He welcomes the opportunity to share with you his passion for and his specialized knowledge in the areas of collecting.
